Very useful adapter
I bought this with another cable, just in case I needed to use my older cables with this adapter. The other cable I purchased did the job, and I'm keeping this as a spare. It was what I expected to get. The price was VERY reasonable. I will definitely purchase from here again.

Did its job.
1. - I use this to create Audio R & L outputs from my laptop.
2. -I bought an adapter to run a Video output from my laptop.
3. - I bought 25ft S-Video Cable wires to connect to old T.V.
I bought #1 & #3 (above) from this site, I bought #2 from the makers of my laptop.
It all works great for NETFLIX on my old TV

Basic but good quality adaptor
This was purchased to carry presentation audio from a laptop to a PA. In conjunction with a standard RCA patch cable it performs the desired function with no complaints.

Adapter from 3.5 male to 2 Female RCA
Very high quality. Made very well. Works Great.
I use it to hookup between my XBox to my headset and to a speaker system (I switch back and forth)between the two of them. I would highly reconmend this item to anybody.

Simple product that works as it should!
A great way to get your PC/Laptop to play audio through your Television set. Just pair it up with some normal RCA cables and use this cable to plug into the headphone jack of your laptop, and boom. You can now pair this with a S-Video cable and watch all your favorite stuff from your PC on your TV.

Add sound to your TV!
Since the economic times are tough and I had to cancel my satellite tv, I discovered I can watch many programs on my computer, albeit a day late. With this little adapter, I can send the sound that would normally go to my cheesy little computer speakers to my cheesy tv speakers via plugging in an rca cable from the adapter to my tv. Just add an s-video cable from the computer to the TV, and your in business with a medium quality picture and stereo sound.

why I got this
I got this item to run my PC audio through my big screen TV, along with a VGA splitter, now I can listen to all my music files, watch video and use my PC on the big screen.

No. The Yamaha is most likely referring to a digital coaxial RCA port. The Y cable that you are looking at is an analog 3.5mm to dual RCA. The Yamaha should have a stereo audio input for that CD player.
