Does a great job
I have an (old now) under-monitor power strip, and I use this to have one button to turn on two monitors. Very handy. I had to dock a star only because one of the female plugs was a little tricky about getting the monitor plug to fit. It works, so that is good. But that is the only reason I docked it.

How long is each of the two cords once you make the split?
From the middle of the center piece, each cord is 915mm to the end.
