The cable connectors that often come out of the box are inadequate for high-definition quality streaming. I was running one of these out-of-the-box cables to my computer and the picture quality was inconsistent and lagged at times. I installed a new cable from these guys and the situation improved.

GREAT CABLE
Well made cable and it works! I bought another HDMI adapter cable from Best Buy and it kept losing the signal to my monitor. Apparently not all cables are created equal.
My advice-do it right the first time and buy from C2G.

Exactly what my office needed.
I connect Dell UltraSharp 24 InfinityEdge Monitor - U2417H with desktops and/or with laptop docking stations. I have several users that the computer and monitors are separated in distance and this is a perfect length for those types of setups.

PERFECT!
I finally was able to get rid of those annoying heavy svga cables between my monitor and PC. I just plugged in the new cable, turned on the PC and bingo the new one works perfectly! Good cable, good price, shipped quickly. That's how an online shopping experience should be.

DVI-D does not support audio unfortunately. So this cable will not send audio through.

The Specs say that both ends of the Cable (HDMI & DVI) are male - however, the pictures show the DVI end to be female. Which is correct?

Both ends of this cable are male. The DVI connection illistrated by the pictures are male. I apologize if this may have been incorrect when you viewed it.

I have a laptop with HDMI video out and a monitor with DVI-D in (both full HD 1080p). Will this support full HD 1080p 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz?

Yes these cables are shielded. The will provide shielding from Radio Frequencies as well as Electromagnetic Frequencies.
