Rated 4 out of 5 by Walt from Helps the hearing impaired. The splitter allows the connection of a hearing aid and a sound bar to the single optical audio jack on the back of most TVs. With the TV transmitting silently to the hearing aids, life is much nicer for all viewers and the person with the aids can control the volume and hear the program.

Rated 1 out of 5 by romanosj from Degrades the signal This device degrades the signal which causes hiccups randomly in the audio signal. I tried it both directions with no consistency in the signal and I'm using all glass Toslink cables (expensive). Don't buy this unless you like wasting your money.
