We purchased these clamps to use for some temporary CAT5e cable runs. They adhere poorly to every surface we've tried them on, even when we're careful to clean it first.
Once they've been latched closed, they're very difficult to re-open to add or remove cables (and attempting to re-open guarantees they get ripped off whatever surface they're on.

do these clips allow you to screw into desk/wall and is there a spot open for a screw?
These clips use a adhesive and do NOT have a tap for a screw.

What's the best way of unclipping these? Is there a special tool to make them unclip easier?
There is no tool for this clip, disconnecting the clip I understand this can be hard but there is no easy way to disconnect it.
