Conquer USB length limitations, and put your USB devices where you want them with our patent-pending USB superbooster wall plate. This wall plate solution extends the distance of a USB device to a host computer up to 150 feet so you can place your USB projector, camera, printer, web cam, hub, or any other USB device exactly where you want it! This wall plate is powerful yet simple, with no drivers to install or special software required so it's compatible with any computer that supports USB.

This plug-and-play device consists of a transmitter unit and a receiver unit incorporated into two, single gang wall plates. The transmitter/receiver pair is connected via standard Cat5, Cat5E, or Cat6 patch cables (not included) allowing for easy in-wall installation. This provides a clean, finished installation that is important for homes, classrooms, offices or any other facility where you don't want unsightly visible cables lying around.

Use pre-terminated network cables or pull unterminated cable and terminate with toolless IDC RJ45 connectors (included). Bus-powered, the USB superbooster wall plate requires no external power source. Compliant with USB Specification 1.1.

Transmitter Connectors: One USB Type B Female (Input) and One RJ45 Female (Output)
Receiver Connectors: One RJ45 Female (Input) and One USB Type A Female (Output)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great Set this up in two smart board classrooms and my personal theater room. USB extender units work flawless. Great item for a HTPC setup. Used in conjunction with a HDMI over Cat5E extender from SII, to keep my Full tower size HTPC located in my computer room and be able to view HTPC 1080p HDMI in my Theater room 60' away. I can keep my rather large LED lit PC and resultant fan noise / light and heat on my HTPC in a seperate room away from the theater room. Using these extenders allows me to control the PC just as if it was in the room. I use a Interlink wireless keyboard/trackball with 100' range. USB extenders work perfect....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly Works perfectly but must not strain the transmitter end USB connection or it will break. Just take ordinary precautions to unplug when not in use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USB Superbooster With keyboard limitations at 6 feet the USB Superbooster has enabled me to place my key board at the front of the 20 plus training rooms I maintain. The installaion was simple with each end clearly marked and the design of the units allowed me to wall mount and blend in with all other low voltage devices, The units "DID NOT create a eye soar for my students.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No more USB wires! This product allows the user to place USB devices at further distances by utilizing CAT5/6 network cabling. The only drawback is that is has only one type of USB input on the transmitter and it should allow for multiple USB cable connectors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from USB 1.1 is not USB 2.0 I put computer and printers in a closet about 30' from monitor. I use a wireless keyboard and mouse. I need a cable to operate the webcam from the monitor -- USB requires amplification to cover the distance. I should have investigated the webcam USB requirements -- didn't occur to me that the USB Superbooster Wall Plate Kit by CablesToGo would not be sufficient for the task.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They work great ! I am a Engineer/Contractor. Unfortunately the wrong wire was pulled because my Locksmith gave me the wrong info for a programmable lock. The wall plate unit was a cheap, reliable, and easy fix that saved me and my client a lot of work and money.

Questions & Answers

I have a USB extensor kit. Which part number goes to the device and which should be located at the computer?

Asked by: Eric
The wall plate with the USB "B" side (square shaped) goes close to the computer. The plate with the USB "A" (rectangular) connector goes by the device.
